MICHIGAN SEPTARIAN A.K.A. LIGHTNING STONE

Also known as Lightning Stones, Michigan Septarians are commonly found in Michigan in some areas around Southwestern Michigan. Septarians consist of Clay that formed on the seafloor that cracked and allowed water to flow through the cracks, depositing Calcite. This created lightning patterns. Some Calcite is UV-reactive and will glow under UV light.
